Its official, it's a GIRL!!!
I am simply overwhelmed and incredibly excited. Seeing her limbs, listening to her heartbeat, and seeing the first glimpse of what will soon be my daughter's face was indescribable. Here's the best shot of her profile (with her arm up to her face):
And my FAVORITE shot, of her LONG legs!
A trait that of course, makes Daddy a little nervous.
Overall we are entirely blessed that everything so far is normal, healthy and I have had a dream pregnancy. Finding out I am having a daughter makes is such a surreal feeling, I can't help but envision what she will be like- but I know I will continue to be surprised, and I can't wait to see what's in store.
Now...onto hammering down some girl names- a task we have been avoiding thus far. Any ideas?

Gender in a blender
Our genetic roll of the dice will reveal itself tomorrow when we figure out the sex at tomorrow's 20 wk ultrasound! Providing the lil nugget is not camera shy...
The nervous excitement has begun to take over, especially as I consider the different parenting roles involved in raising a boy or girl. Of course, whatever gender "it" will be, his or her health is of the utmost importance.
Yet i cant help but imagine as each day gets me one step closer to the reality of raising my son or daughter, and discovering the truth behind cliche's like "her mother's daughter" and hope that the apple does in fact fall not far from the tree.
Will he have his father's humor? Will she be as stubborn as I am? Only time will tell.
Whatever side of the gender wheel the chips fall on, I am ever ecstatic to call it my own.
And now, a word from Tina Fey:
